The Stage

The luminous lights dim; her heart beats fast with fright.

She had prepared for months for this moment, for this night.

Now she fears her routine would dwindle,

As slowly, and lowly, she strolls to the stage.

At last, for what seems an eternity, dead center.

She can hear nothing, but the accelerating adrenaline pounding in her head.

She glances at the audience, but the audience looks nearly dead.

This does not set her sould a kindle.

The music starts; the performance begins.

She does her right splits in mid-air after a beat.

Suddenly, her fears melt away.

Spin, arabesque, plea

She wishes this feeling will stay, her heart seems to sway.

Leap, axel, pique

Her soul pours out at every count.

She strikes her final pose; the music ends.

The whole crowd stands with roaring applause.

Her smile grows bigger, while she gracefully bends to bow.

She loves it here, though, she does not know how.

But she is a dancer, and her home is the stage.

Informal Photoshoot, I guess you could call it

These are from a couple months ago, so I'm posting them now :) We were all ready for church, but had an hour to spare, so I took some of their pics. I love all three of them :)

Photoshoot

I guess you can say that this was my first official photoshoot (well, except for the part that I didn't charge any money, but whatever). All three of these girls are so much fun, and they are all very photogenic (one of them is actually a model). So, ya it was just a lot of fun. :D

Stuff from the Garden

We have a blackberry bush, and this year there are a lot of blackberries. One day, my mom came in with a whole bowl (about 2 cups) of blackberries!

I have a feeling that I've taken a pic that looks like this before.... Oh well, it's still pretty

We have strawberries... Right after I took this pic, I ate this strawberry. It was SO yummy! :)

New Camera!!

I'm sorry, it's been a while since my last post. I've been having a lot of things on my mind lately, so ya. I got a new camera over a month ago, and I love it! It's not the best, but it's still much better than the one I used to use. It's a Canon Powershot, and it's 12 MP. Have I mentioned that it has some awesome effects? :))
